Good Review at Broken Trails!

Patti Abbot's FLASH FICTION CHALLENGE was a true challenge for most involved. Every writer was given a paragraph from another writer and they had to build on that paragraph and write a 750 word (or less) story. The paragraph I was given was so good- tight, exciting, fluid - that I quickly decided to throw in the towel as it was so many levels above what I was able to do. However, I stuck with it and the story RED WINTER was a massive step forward for me and I was pleased with it. The CHALLENGE ended and I discovered the paragraph that I was given was from Ray Foster, a Brit who has written loads of top-rated western novels for Black Horse (and recently wrote a great - and VERY well received -short story for Beat To A Pulp, if you don't know!)
